“Attack of the Show” Spin-off Confirmed, CW Gets “Moonlight”
By Brian Cantor on May 7, 2010
– The CW formally picked up rerun broadcast rights to CBS’ canceled “Moonlight,” and it will pair the series’ previously-aired episodes with repeats of its own “Vampire Diaries” on Thursdays this summer.
– According to THR, G4 has ordered a spin-off of its popular “Attack of the Show” series, handing a ten-episode order to a show based on an “Attack” segment.
“It’s Effin Science,” which started as a component of “Attack of the Show,” becomes its own series on June 15. On the show, hosts Angie Greenup and Marc Horowitz join engineer Chad Zdenek in conducting “wacky” science experiments.
