WWE’s Truly Surprising Release, Backstage Mickie James Heat

— Add more fuel to the speculation fire regarding the role Mickie James’ alleged attitude problems played in spurring her WWE release.

PWTorch.com reports that James had a reputation for showing “true diva” behavior backstage. It was reportedly a big issue, with one source claiming it was the kind of problem that should have been addressed a long time ago.

— While the recent Mickie James and Shelton Benjamin releases were surprising to fans, F4WOnline.com reports that some insiders were caught more off guard by the release of Slam Master J. The son of Terry Gordy (his real name is Terry Ray Gordy, Jr.), Slam Master J had heavy backstage support from Michael Hayes, who apparently views the wrestler as a son.

Some believe the Michael Hayes backing was the only reason he even had a job in WWE, and there was thus surprise that Hayes’ protection ultimately proved unable to keep the wrestler safe from a “future endeavors” announcement.

  1. It’s all just WWE Management spreading rumors and slandering Mickie James’ name after firing her. Do you really think that you can trust the word of a company that calls a woman “fat” and “Piggy” for months on end?

Vince McMahon and WWE could not make money off Mickie’s upcoming CD and, if WWE can not make a dime off of you (especially if you are a woman) and your out-of-ring endeavors, you are fired. WWE can suck it.

  2. I know the REAL reason for the WWE for firing Mickie James. She was fired because she was getting close to breaking Vince McMahon’s golden girl, Trish Stratus’ record-setting seven titles reigns. Mr. McMahon didn’t want that record to be broken so him and the rest of the WWE executives got together and formulated a plan to get Mickie out of the company. After they saw that calling her names wasn’t doing anything but lighting a fire in Mickie that resorted to the lowest thing in the book. They blamed Mickie for them being stuck in Europe when it clearly wasn’t her fault(Hello, the volcano ash over Iceland kept them in Europe). I would like to have someone try to dispute this because I know that I am 100% right and they would be so totally wrong.
