Top WWE Superstar Could Be Done Imminently

PWInsider.com reports that Batista is still expected to depart World Wrestling Entertainment imminently.

Over the past few weeks, rumors have said Batista, who wrestles John Cena at tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules pay-per-view, is planning to embark on a hiatus from WWE. Those rumors gained credibility when WWE replaced Batista with Triple H in the cast of its upcoming film “Killing Karma,” reportedly because the company did not want to cast a wrestler who might not be with the company for the long term.

It should be noted that while Batista is planning to take time off, it is not a guarantee that he will leave this week (as some believe is the case), so one should not draw too many definitive conclusions about the likely outcome of his Extreme Rules match.
