Backstage WWE Problem With Batista?, Backstage RAW News

— As was to be expected, with so much uncertainty regarding who was to be available for tonight’s RAW in New Jersey, the WWE creative team did not format the show until this afternoon. It is now clear that Triple H and members of the SmackDown! brand, including The Undertaker, are to be at the focal point. The cast of “MacGruber” hosts the show.

— In a follow-up to the story broken today regarding Triple H replacing Batista in the lead for WWE Films’ upcoming “Killing Karma” sources have confirmed that ‘Big Dave’ is unhappy with the decision. Batista wants an opportunity to break out as a movie star, and a lead role in this project obviously represented a step in the right direction.

WWE’s reasoning for the replacement, according to insiders, is that Batista has yet to sign a new deal with the company, and its primary motive for casting wrestlers in its movies is to expand their profile within the realm of WWE. Triple H obviously is not going anywhere, so he represents a more surefire investment.
