WWE NXT Ratings Dip Slightly, Hits Low In Key Demo

WWE NXT took a slight tumble in the ratings this week, hitting an all-time low in the coveted adults 18-49 demographic.

After rebounding to a viewership total of 1.302 million last week, the count dropped to 1.217 million. The cable broadcast rating came in at a 0.94.

Among adults 18-49, the show posted an all-time low 0.3, dropping even below the total from two weeks ago when overall viewership was lower.

Considering RAW dropped considerably in the ratings this week, the show had less momentum and was thus expected by many to suffer a slight decline. At the same time, the experiment of booking NXT Rookie David Otunga as RAW host this week clearly did not work, as his appearance on the flagship Monday show did not translate into new interest for the Tuesday hour.
