Another Possible Change To WrestleMania’s Main-Event Plans

F4WOnline.com reports that Shawn Michaels vs. Undertaker is once again the frontrunner to close this year’s WrestleMania.

Though that match appeared to be the inevitable main event selection, talk over the past week emphasized that John Cena vs. Batista would close the show. A final decision will not be made until Sunday afternoon, but as of Friday night, the plan was once again for Michaels-Undertaker to headline.

Interestingly, there is now talk of doing Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon towards the end of the show, possibly even as the last bout. The general assumption had long been that the Hart-McMahon match, sure to be a gimmick bout with lots of shortcuts, would air in the middle of the show, but WWE has apparently determined that its worldwide anticipation should lead to a better slot on the card.

It has also been reported that WWE was still unsure how to book one of the main-event finishes, so that should inform wrestling fans about how indecisive WWE is regarding match order.
