Update on TNA iMPACT’s New Possible Timeslot

Sources within both TNA and Spike TV confirmed that the network’s schedule for April 5 is correct–iMPACT! will air live from 8-10PM that night.

As of now, however, that will be a one-time deal to move the opening hour away from NCAA Basketball on CBS. The plan from April 12 onward is to resume airing the show directly against WWE RAW from 9-11PM.

That noted, if iMPACT! were to post a particularly strong number from 8-9PM that night, the idea of permanently relocating the show would almost definitely be considered. While TNA and Spike TV have not expressed alarm at the show’s Monday performance thus far, they are also not entirely thrilled with the ratings, and a successful test from 8-10PM could serve as a tipping point for considering a permanent move.
