Hulk Hogan’s Backstage Reaction To TNA’s Booking, More iMPACT! Changes

F4WOnline.com reports that Hulk Hogan was a big fan of how his storyline came across on this past Thursday’s edition of TNA iMPACT.

Hogan reportedly enjoys presenting himself as a broken down character who is defying the odds by getting back in the ring, so from that perspective, he felt the segments on last week’s show worked.

Others within the company, however, believe names like Hogan and Ric Flair are at their most commercially valuable when portrayed as larger than life, fantasy characters who seem to operate outside of the jurisdiction of age and fatigue. According to such individuals, by sending the message that the veteran names do not belong in the ring, TNA is essentially declaring its product irrelevant for 2010.

— TNA is set to debut a new theme song on Monday’s show.
