UFC News: Best of PRIDE Pulled?, James Toney Signs to Fight

— Though no statement has been issued, the Best of PRIDE series has been pulled from Spike TV’s online schedule. UFC.com lists a premiere episode for Friday, March 5 at 10PM EST; SpikeTV.com, however, advertises an episode of “CSI” for the timeslot.

More clarification should emerge shortly.

— UFC officially signed former boxing champion James Toney to a multi-fight contract. UFC President Dana White raised eyebrows when he discussed meeting with Toney at a recent PPV press conference, and the deal has now been made–the 41-year-old boxer will soon debut in the Octagon.
