— While WWE has yet to name guest RAW hosts beyond “Stone Cold” Steve Austin on March 15, sources say WWE has not officially abandoned the concept.
At press time, WWE was considering keeping the guest-hosting gimmick alive through August, albeit possibly in a lighter frequency (such as once a month or only in conjunction with ‘special’ editions of RAW). The company is reportedly still in active pursuit of celebrities to host upcoming installments.
When WWE first touted its guest hosting concept for the media, celebrities like Ashton Kutcher, Ashlee Simpson, Pete Wentz, Jimmy Fallon and Rachael Ray had all reportedly been in final talks to host. It was confirmed in November that a scheduling conflict kept Fallon from hosting in New York City, but little word has been offered to explain why so many of the other rumored celebrities have not entered the ring.
— Sources say Triple H has been suffering some minor quadriceps pain, although it is not expected to cause any missed time.
