While many blanks remain as it relates to how the inaugural season of WWE NXT will work, the world’s leading wrestling organization began painting a clearer picture Tuesday.
During the second episode, announcers Josh Matthews and Michael Cole confirmed that the contestants’ fates will be decided by a tallied “vote” by the pros in the competition.
They added that the pros can neither vote for nor against their rookie protege.
Obviously, as the wrestlers are already under contract to WWE, more than one ‘rookie’ will end up making an impact on RAW or SmackDown. But it should be interesting to determine how WWE uses the voting process to give one of the rookies an additional edge when it comes to breaking into the main roster.
That’s still a stupid scoring system.. I would have liked to have seen a tournament of some sort.. or atleast a rumble match.. This is part reality T.V. remeber, I just feel as if VKM.. is expirementing with the concept of a stiffer style of wrestling cause if you watch Daniels and Jericho.. There match’s bring out a stiffer side EXAMPLE: The Lion Tamer we all seen it.. Thats 2 weeks in a row Jericho has or tried to apply it..(Those of you who don’t know what the Lion Tamer is… It is the father of the Walls Of Jericho the diffrence being TWJ is a boston crab and TLT Is a high angle boston crab with one knee applied to the back of the head forcing all weight to shift on the neck…)I would love to the WWE”F” get a little stiffer style more of a Japaneese style
