Of the four key finalists from season eight of “American Idol,” Danny Gokey received far and away the least amount of immediate post-show publicity from the FOX juggernaut.
But the soulful third place finisher will get a shot to go before the “Idol” crowd again next Thursday as he performs his single “My Best Days Are Ahead of Me.”
Gokey’s performance will serve as additional entertainment during the hourlong results show, in which four more semifinalists will be eliminated from contention.
“My Best Days,” the new album from Gokey, releases on March 2.
