“Ugly Betty” standout Becki Newton, who was the most-demanded female comedic talent this pilot season, has picked her project for the coming year.
The actress, who supported as Amanda on ABC’s once acclaimed comedy, will star in NBC’s comedy pilot “Love Bites.”
According to THR, it took sifting through eleven offers before Newton settled on the project, which follows loosely connected stories of sex, love, dating and marriage.
Newton will play the optimistic and bubbly social worker Annie, who is a virgin.
