“Lost,” “The Shield” Stars Score Big Pilot Roles

Some of the more anticipated pilot casting news has begun circulating, with stars from acclaimed series “The Shield” and “Lost” selecting their prospective series for next year.

“The Shield”‘s Michael Chiklis, one of the most in-demand male leads this season, booked a starring role on ABC’s pilot “No Ordinary Family.”

The drama, penned by Greg Berlanti and Jon Feldman, focuses on a family in which all members have special abilities. Chiklis plays the father.

“Lost” regular Daniel Dae Kim, meanwhile, has scored a lead on CBS’ “Hawaii Five-0″ remake. Kim will play Detective Chin Ho Kelly in the pilot written by Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci.
