Major ECW Announcement Confirmed, Bret Hart Boosts WWE RAW Rating

— WWE.com confirmed that Chairman Vince McMahon will make a major announcement regarding the future of ECW on Tuesday’s broadcast.

— Monday’s edition of WWE RAW posted a 3.63 rating off hours of 3.5 and 3.76. Up slightly from last week’s number, the strong jump from hour one to hour two is indicative of sizable interest in the Bret Hart-Vince McMahon encounter.

Among adults 18-49, the show averaged a 1.9, doing a 1.7 in hour one and a 2.1 in the second hour. With a 5.29 million viewership average, the show did 5.012 million in the first portion and 5.561 million from 10PM to 11:13PM.
