Martin Kampmann Returns with Impressive Win; UFC 108 Prelim Results

At one point eyed as a challenger to Georges St. Pierre’s title, Martin Kampmann’s standing as one of the UFC Welterweight division’s most dominant forces came crashing down with a knockout loss to Paul Daley.

His UFC 108 preliminary bout with standout wrestler Jacob Volkmann represented an opportunity to return to his winning ways. And he seized that opportunity, scoring a first round tapout after withstanding an aggressive, albeit reckless, striking pursuit from his opponent.
