WWE Title Holder Apparently Suffers Injury
The word coming out of WWE’s Tuesday house show in New Hampshire is that Divas Champion Melina suffered a legitimate injury at the event.
According to multiple reports, Melina appeared to incur a knee injury after slipping on the mat during a Divas tag match. The match was ended abruptly, and as Melina had not been involved in anything physical at that point, it would have made no sense as a worked injury.
As per a PWInsider.com report, sources within WWE noted that there is a backstage fear that Melina suffered a torn ACL during the bout. A more detailed analysis of the injury should be available Wednesday.
