Source Confirms Bret Hart As WWE RAW Guest Host

While WWE has yet to release an official statement on the matter, offline cable guides for DirecTV claim that Bret Hart will serve as the guest host of the January 4, 2010 edition of RAW.

“Shocking guest host Bret ‘The Hitman’ Hart returns to confront Vince McMahon,” reads the statement.

That particular edition of RAW goes head-to-head with the latter two hours of the Monday night iMPACT! special (featuring the on-screen debut and return of names like Hulk Hogan), and WWE clearly wanted to go with a name of significant importance to the wrestling community.

Yet regardless of whether Hart appears in the advertised guest host role, he is due on WWE television imminently. His short-term WWE contract begins this January and lasts until a few weeks after WrestleMania 26.
