Latest on Ric Flair’s Possible TNA Debut

Despite receiving what is being reported as a massive offer from TNA Wrestling, Ric “The Nature Boy” Flair has yet to formally sign with the number two wrestling company.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Flair’s offer is miles higher than the $250,000 he was offered in his last round of negotiations with WWE. He nonetheless still has a few hang-ups, notably the fact that he wants to be paid directly by Panda Energy to assure his salary holds in the event that the TNA Wrestling venture goes out of business.

Though Flair has not directly negotiated with WWE recently, most believe he also remains concerned about getting into bed with WWE’s direct competitor.

TNA does want to get the deal done by the January 4 iMPACT! special, so he will likely receive some heavy pressure from that side during the course of the next week.
