Latest on Steve Austin’s Return; To WWE or TNA?

In one of the weirdest stories in pro wrestling, sources say TNA continues to have Steve Austin on its “wish list” for a talent acquisition, despite the fact that he is under a contract with WWE that prevents him from working for a competitor.

While Austin is not obligated to appear on WWE TV under the deal, the deal does prevent him from working for TNA or Spike TV. No matter how much Hulk Hogan and other TNA sources might put over the possibility of an Austin signing, it does not appear particularly possible.

Regarding the WWE vs. TNA and UFC situation, sources say WWE is hoping to land major guest hosts for the 1/4 and 1/11 editions of RAW (1/4 is against TNA, 1/11 is against UFC). Austin had previously expressed no interest in appearing as a guest host, although one would assume WWE could do something to entice him to appear. The Rock is also on the short list for those shows, although his Hollywood schedule makes a January appearance difficult.

If these seem insulting to you guess what that is how I feel as a fan to have these turds on the show!
