– EW.com reports that “Lost” is casting a new female character known as “Kendall.”

According to the EW story, the character is an intelligent, beautiful woman with a sharp wit who finds herself lying her way out of a corporate espionage situation.

– After spoilers regarding a bisexual “90210″ character disappointed last year–it turned out to be the relatively minor character Christina (played by Lauren London)–this year’s tease of a new lesbian relationship is more significant.

EW reports that previously-straight main character Adrianna, played by Jessica Lowndes, will get involved in a “genuine” relationship with lesbian character Gia (Rumer Willis).

Earlier this week, spoiler reports confimed that Mandy Musgrave booked an arc on the show as Gia’s ex-girlfriend Alex.
