Story of Undertaker Pulled Over at Gunpoint, Big Paul Heyman Error

— While Paul Heyman’s claim that Rihanna’s record label used his ECW album cover idea as “inspiration” for her “Russian Roulette” single cover picked up a lot of traction in the wrestling community, it did not generate too much in the way of mainstream publicity.

Nonetheless, the mainstream gossip outlets that did run a story on Heyman’s claims were not always accurate. Contact Music, for instance, implies that Heyman once wrestled as The Sandman (who appears on the ECW album cover in question). “Paul Heyman appeared topless, wrapped in barbed wire and sporting an eye patch on the cover of ECW: Extreme Music, which featured the music of Motorhead and Megadeth – and now he wants credit for inspiring Rihanna,” read the article, before skeptically questioning whether Heyman truly was the head ECW honcho.

— As hype for his book “The World According to Dutch,” Dutch Mantell took to his theworldaccordingtodutch.blogspot.com blog to discuss some of the contents. One story involves Mantell and Undertaker getting pulled over at gunpoint: “this is about a wild night that the Undertaker and I were riding peacefully back home and were stopped and detained by 3 Kentucky Highway Patrolmen and 5 county deputies on Interstate 65 North at GUNPOINT. Another true story and one that I’ll never forget.”
