Miley Cyrus makes just a brief red carpet appearance in the upcoming “Sex and the City 2,” but filming for the role generated significant buzz this weekend.

And the rationale behind the buzz is obvious–the unexpected casting clash (the teen Cyrus in a movie that skews towards older women) combined with Cyrus’ head-turning outfit made the appearance a big news story.

Meanwhile, “Heroes” star Ali Larter looked simply incredible at Cirque du Soleil’s KOOZA Opening Night Gala.
