— While news of the “tri-brand trade” has garnered most of the attention in the WWE realm this week, sources report that another interesting story is developing.
There is talk that former Divas Champion Mickie James is frustrated with WWE. Rumors of the sort first emerged when James gave gestural clues that she was upset with how a match against Gail Kim panned out in the ring; the rumors have now escalated to broad reports of unhappiness with her position in the company.
It is unclear how the trade to SmackDown! has affected James’ morale; similarly, it is not clear if WWE’s decision to send the Diva over to the other brand was related to her supposed frustration.

All I can say, is with Mickie James and Beth Phoenix being traded to Smackdown, I have NO reason to keep watching Raw!
Some are saying Mickie has looked sloppy in the ring recently. But, she’s been working with green girls like Rosa and Alicia. When she works with Beth, Mickie puts on one of the best matches of the night. What happened to Melina during her first moves on RAW Monday night… a botched finisher.
Mickie James is consistently one of the only people, male or female, in WWE to get a genuine pop from the crowd. Plus, she works like few others. She’s the best Diva and one of the best performers in the world right now. WWE needs to get their head out of the sand and keep Mickie James happy. Mickie is one of the few bright spots the company has.
Mickie James is the best WWE Diva in a while. She deserves so much better- I wish she would go to TNA and become a Knockout!
In the first years of TNA, Mickie James (as Alexis Laree) was in one of the most hardcore matches with Raven, Slash, Julio Dinero- and she held her own.
She’s one of the only consistent talents WWE has- and Smackdown is not the place for her.
