Backstage WWE Thoughts On RAW, Latest Guest Host Rumors

October 13, 2009
By Brian Cantor

– WWE officials were reportedly very pleased with guest host Maria Menounos’ performance on Monday’s RAW. While the idea of the television personality performing for WWE as a regular is not on the table, the feeling is that WWE would definitely be interested in booking Menounos for another appearance if it made sense creatively.

– The November 16, 2009 edition of RAW, which takes place in Madison Square Garden, has been the subject of numerous guest host rumors. One such rumor says that WWE is looking to book a New York Yankees player as the host for the event. No deal has been finalized, however, and how the Yankees ultimately do in the playoffs this year, among other factors, will play a role in determining whether the hosting gig comes to fruition.
