Kimbo Slice vs. Roy Nelson Scores Monster “Ultimate Fighter” Rating

The “Ultimate Fighter” showdown between Kimbo Slice and Roy Nelson will not only be the biggest-drawing fight in the history of the reality show, but if the number holds up, it will have produced UFC’s top-rated show from start-to-finish.

According to F4WOnline.com, the third season ten episode of TUF garnered 5.3 million viewers; the actual fight, in which Roy Nelson defeated Slice via stoppage, drew 6.1 million viewers.

An additional 1.5 million viewers tuned in for the replay airing.

Among the target 18-34 male demographic, the show did a 6.8 rating. The Kimbo-Nelson fight peaked with a 7.9. The demographic figures top those of the highly-rated Ken Shamrock vs. Tito Ortiz III bout that broke records in 2006.
