Frank Trigg’s future in the UFC is not looking positive following his rapid TKO loss to Josh Koscheck.

“I think Trigg is one of those guys [like Cro Cop],” UFC President Dana White told MMAJunkie. “These [other] guys are young and explosive. There’s just a whole other level of talent out there, man, and that’s the way it works. That’s the way this business is.”

White added that he “doubt(s)” UFC will give the veteran Trigg another opportunity in the Octagon. “He got smoked tonight,” said White following the conclusion of the bout.

Aware of the talk that his UFC days are numbered, Trigg contemplated retirement in an interview.

“If they say I’m done, I’m done,” he said. “If the UFC cuts me, I’m done fighting. I don’t have the strength or determination to go fight in the minor leagues anymore. I’ve done it before.”
