According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Jarrett’s return to Total Nonstop Action Wrestling is not imminent.
Sidelined since news of his relationship with Karen Angle, fellow TNA wrestler Kurt’s ex-wife, broke, Jarrett has been away on “personal” leave (that was reportedly mandated by TNA’s Dixie Carter). Jarrett has developed significant heat in the lockerroom, and the feeling since day one of his hiatus has been that if he does come back, it would not be with the power he had on departure.
The Observer notes that nothing specific regarding a return is in the cards right now; Jarrett remains a part-owner and has been working on business deals from home. An in-ring return is possible, but the feeling is that he will not have much, if any, creative power when he does eventually return to the backstage component of the company.
