WWE RAW Rating Improves

The combination of Floyd Mayweather’s guest appearance and WWE Summerslam buzz catapulted RAW to a strong rating this week.

WWE’s flagship program posted a 3.9 rating, off hours of 3.92 and 3.94, according to PWInsider.com. The minor gain from hour one to hour two indicates that WWE did little to build on the unusually strong initial viewing interest, but the rating is far too solid for the industry to focus on the negatives.

The prior two weekly airings of the show garnered 3.8 ratings for USA Network.
