Triple H Censored on Fallon, Maria Update, ECW Championship

— ECW Superstar Abraham Washington announced on Tuesday’s show that William Regal is the number one contender for Christian’s ECW Championship. As with Gail Kim’s guaranteed title shot against Mickie James, WWE only confirmed that the match will happen at some point–not that it is specifically booked for Summerslam.

— WWE Diva Maria appears in a new WWE.com photoshoot entitled “Blue Jean Baby.”

— Triple H made a brief appearance as the second guest on Tuesday’s “Late Night With Jimmy Fallon.” Following Ashton Kutcher in appearing on the program, HHH’s entrance–via a trap door in the audience–featured enhancement from a smoke machine. The former WWE Champion plugged DX’s match against Legacy (though he noted their affiliation with Randy Orton, he did not identify Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase by name) and the upcoming SmackDown! vs. RAW 2010 game. For the latter, he showed a clip of his in-game character wrestling a downloadable Jimmy Fallon character.

A highlight of the interview involved Triple H getting censored for using the vulgar word “twat.” Distancing himself from Fallon and Kutcher, who are among Twitter’s most-followed users, HHH jokingly remarked that he doesn’t “tweet” or “twat.” Kutcher joked that the latter is simply the past tense for tweet, while Hunter upped the ante by saying that a lot of people who “tweet” are “twats.”
