– UFC formally announced Wednesday that it will air numerous fights from UFC 100–including some of the non-televised preliminary bouts–Saturday night. The UFC 100 feature, set to air from 10PM to 12:30AM, counters the Strikeforce “Carano vs. Cyborg” event.

Set to air on the special are Brock Lesnar vs. Frank Mir 2, Dan Henderson vs. Michael Bisping, Alan Belcher vs. Yoshihiro Akiyama, Stephan Bonnar vs. Mark Coleman, Shannon Gugerty vs. Matt Grice and Jon Jones vs. Jake O’Brien.

In the wake of Strikeforce’s deal with Fedor, UFC President Dana White recently made it clear that he views the promotion as a legitimate competitor worth defeating. White had previously vowed not to aggressively go after the group.

– Former WWE Diva Ashley Massaro confirmed on her Twitter that she will undergo surgery to repair a dislodged plate in her leg.
