Latest News On The Miz’s RAW “Banning”

Present at NBC Universal’s TCA press tour party, Mike “The Miz” Mizanin spoke with IGN about his banning from WWE RAW.

The interview, which generally took a storyline/worked tone, featured Miz admitting that his WWE status is ambiguous following Monday’s RAW.

“We still have Syfy ECW [part of the NBC Universal family],” said Miz. “And we have live events. They never kicked me off RAW live events, so I can still do those as well. So who knows what’s going to happen? I don’t even know! They don’t even tell me… I literally went, “Banned from RAW? And SummerSlam? And the Staples Center!?” I can’t even go see a Lakers game right now!”

Miz’s mention of ECW was intended to be a response to why he was still representing WWE at the Universal party; it was not a surefire sign that he is being moved to the ECW roster.

WWE has yet to clarify The Miz’s standing following the RAW storyline, in which host Jeremy Piven effectively banned Miz from RAW, “Summerfest,” Summerslam and the Staples Center.
