Dr. Ken In New NBC Comedy, Comments on RAW Bump

— “Dr. Ken” Jeong made an appearance during at this week’s Television Critics Association press tour event in support of NBC’s “Community.” Last month, Jeong booked a recurring arc on the cast of NBC’s heavily-hyped new comedy, which stars Joel McHale and Chevy Chase.

During his time at the event, Jeong spoke with IGN about his guest hosting gig on Monday’s RAW. “Yeah, they did kind of [try to catch me]…I did get a little banged up there. I’ll just kind of leave it at that,” said of the graphic head-bump Jeong took Monday as a result of John Cena’s toss to the outside.

“That was a lot of fun. The whole experience. Until like, the end…it was a little not so fun. All in all I had a good time. I still have a big hematoma on the back of my scalp and, yeah, I was in a bit of pain, but overall it was good,” added Jeong about the experience.

“Dr. Ken” noted that while he was a wrestling fan as a kid, he was not familiar with the current scene or the lockerroom atmosphere.
