Latest UFC 100 Buyrate Number, Tito, More TNA Cuts?

— The latest UFC buyrate projection, based on data from multiple sources within the UFC and the cable industry, is 1.72 million. That is far and away the best domestic number for a mixed martial arts event, although it falls short of three high-profile boxing matches (Oscar De La Hoya vs. Floyd Mayweather, Mike Tyson vs. Evander Holyfield 2 and Mike Tyson vs. Lennox Lewis).

— Tito Ortiz’s Octagon return will likely be in November or December. Though no date or opponent has been confirmed, the rumors of a Tito Ortiz vs. Mark Coleman fight are very valid–that appears to be UFC’s planned direction for the Ortiz return fight.

— ProWrestling.net reports that the confirmed TNA releases of Dutch Mantel and Savio Vega might not be the only staff cuts planned for the company.
