As the week kicks off, breakup has been the theme of celebrity gossip reporting.
Numerous outlets confirmed this week that Kim Kardashian and Reggie Bush have ended their relationship; the Joe Jonas-Camilla Belle pairing has also reached its culmination.
A rep for Kardashian, speaking to PEOPLE, attributed the breakup with NFL star Bush to their time spent apart.
“They never get to see each other, ever,” the source says. “It’s been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it’s tough.”
Meanwhile, Joe Jonas and Camilla Belle ended the relationship that went public in the wake of Jonas’ much-talked-about breakup with Taylor Swift.
“Yes, it’s true, they have broken up. There is no third party involved and they care deeply about each other and will remain friends,” said Brad Cafarelli, Belle’s rep.
