Variety reports that two of Hollywood’s most high-profile actors are in talks to join Seth Rogen in “The Green Hornet.”
According to the story, Nicolas Cage and Cameron Diaz are in preliminary discussions to appear in next summer’s comic adaptation.
Cage would play the lead villain, while Diaz would play a reporter and love interest. Seth Rogen stars as the title character.
Rogen wrote the script with frequent collaborator Evan Goldberg; Stephen Chow had originally been booked to star as Kato, but the studio will instead be replacing the actor.
