Edge Undergoes Surgery, Photos Posted
WWE.com confirmed Tuesday afternoon that Edge underwent successful surgery for his Achilles tendon tear.
The website had not yet revealed anticipated details on Edge’s recovery timeframe and the future of the Unified Tag Championship belts, but it was expected to do so soon. The website also posted pictures of Edge’s surgery process at this link.
Edge suffered the Achilles tendon injury at the beginning of Friday’s house show match with Jeff Hardy. While Edge had reportedly been experiencing nagging soreness and injuries, none were connected to the unfortunate tendon tear.
