– The word going around is that Ethan Kanin (Bob Gunton) will be promoted to Secretary of State under President Allison Taylor for the eighth season of “24.” There had been rumors that Kanin and Taylor would turn their relationship into a match–based on the rift in the Taylor family at the end of season seven–but that does not appear to be the case.

– Jennie Garth will likely be back in some capacity for season two of “90210,” but nothing has been finalized.

– “Heroes” is looking to cast a young version of Nathan Petrelli for the upcoming fourth season.
