Problem For Last Night’s WWE RAW, Trump Frustration

– In an instance of unfortunate timing, last night’s “Jon & Kate Plus 8″ featured the couple’s divorce announcement and was expected to draw a huge rating for TLC. USA ran WWE RAW commercial-free as a ploy to create a competitive advantage against rival networks like TNT and TLC, but it unfortunately appears that even a spike in the RAW number will not be enough to give it the Monday night ratings crown.

– While little about the Donald Trump storyline excited WWE’s roster, there was particular disappointment over the fact that WWE refunded $235,000 of fan money at last night’s show as a means to get Trump over with the crowd, given the fact that pay for wrestlers and office workers is down and has become an issue for some talent. Rey Mysterio, for instance, had a recent conflict with management over what was described as “money issues.” (F4WOnline.com)
