Last week’s news that Katee Sackhoff has joined the cast of “24″ was apparently not the end of the “24″ casting acquisitions. The Hollywood Reporter added another name to the lineup.

Joining the show for its eighth season is Clayne Crawford, who plays a “bad boy” from Dana Walsh’s (Sackhoff) past. Signed on as a recurring, Crawford recently wrapped production on films “Smokin’ Aces: Blowback” and “Brooklyn to Manhattan.”

Meanwhile, NBC injected a new name into one-time “24″ rival “Heroes.” Rick Worthy of “Battlestar Galactica” fame has joined the cast as Matt Parkman’s experienced and capable new partner.
