Major News On “The Beatles: Rock Band”

Living Beatles members Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr joined producer Giles Martin in disclosing major details for upcoming video game “The Beatles: Rock Band” at E3.

Of the forty five master Beatles tracks slated for the disc, which hits stores this fall, ten songs were officially confirmed this week. Additional Beatles songs, including the entire Abbey Road album, will be available for download following the game’s launch.

Confirmed on disc are “I Saw Her Standing There,” “I Want To Hold Your Hand,” “I Feel Fine,” “Taxman,” “Day Tripper,” Back In The USSR,” “I Am The Walrus,” “Octopus’s Garden,” “Here Comes The Sun,” and “Get Back.” “All You Need is Love” will be released as a charity download for the XBOX 360 on release day.

Similar to the band-specific “Guitar Hero” games, “The Beatles” will allow players to relive the famous performances and venues from the band’s legendary career.

The game releases on September 9.
