Update On Ultimate Warrior, Randy Savage in WWE

Though Ultimate Warrior has not had a significant presence in the pro wrestling media recently, he remains on WWE’s radar.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that his suit against WWE and the McMahons over the “Self Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior” DVD is still ongoing. Warrior’s claim includes allegations of false portrayal regarding some of the stories in the DVD as well as a declaration that WWE violated a settlement between the two parties by making disparaging remarks about the wrestler.

Because of the lawsuit, sources say WWE is considering an Ultimate Warrior Hall of Fame induction to be “off limits,” even given the fact that next year’s WrestleMania weekend is in Phoenix.

A Randy Savage induction remains out of the question due to Vince McMahon’s ongoing personal issue with the “Macho Man.”
