New Film Casts 50 Cent, Jack Bauer and Nancy Drew

Variety reports that an extensive cast has been set for the upcoming film adaptation of novel “Twelve.”

Confirmed for the film, to be directed by Joel Schumacher, are Chace Crawford, Emma Roberts, Rory Culkin, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Ellen Barkin and Kiefer Sutherland.

Released in 2002, the story from the then-seventeen Nick McDonnell follows a high school dropout-turned-drug dealer. His life intensifies in the face of a murder.

Set to begin production on an adapted screenplay by Jordan Melamed later this month, the film is targeted for a 2010 release.
